    Lunar Cow Publishing was created from the mind of a young boy who grew up in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. He was fascinated with space, exploration, farming and fairy tales. With the idea of creating a marketing communications company that specialized in branding, the concept of the Cow Jumping Over the Moon began to resonate.

    Lunar Cow Publishing was created in March 2000, with a focus on marketing our services to amusement parks, zoos, science centers, animal training properties and aquariums. From those humble beginnings, our company has grown into a destination marketing company providing services to the Travel and Tourism industry.

    Today, Lunar Cow Publishing has over 400 clients in the United States, representing Chambers of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureaus. Our company has evolved into a technology-based company that also provides traditional publishing services.

    Our company continues to expand, publishing relocation guides, community guides, visitors guides, business directories, activities guides, outdoor guides, and dining guides as well as community maps. These core publishing services are complemented with our proprietary mobile interactive technologies, which provide leading-edge core differentiation for our clients while bringing tremendous value to the members, visitors and communities they represent.

LIFE ON THE FARM


We call our office “The Farm” and it is where all the action takes place. Our building is located in an area called Portage Lakes, Ohio, sandwiched between a beautiful body of water on one side and a championship golf course, Turkeyfoot Golf Club on the other. We operate in a wonderful venue located within a region that complements our farm.

We embrace our People, Processes and Technologies that bring competitive solutions to our clients on a continuous basis. Our staff members are experts in graphic design, copy writing, computer programming, advertising sales, project management, process control and client services.

OUR OBSERVATORY

The Observatory is our advertising sales portal that allows clients who purchase an advertisement for a publication to utilize a single source to pay for their ad, upload it, proof it and approve it. The system is an easy-to-use technology that handles every aspect of producing an advertisement for the publication.

This system is built upon a responsive technology architecture and literally takes minutes for an advertiser to design, edit and approve their ad right from their mobile device. The Lunar Cow Project Management system, PM 3.0, is a client-facing responsive technology that provides our clients with a single repository for the complete management of their project. The system is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool designed to let our customers utilize a comprehensive approach for their projects. Clients are granted full access to every system as well as complete performance reporting for their publication. We empower them to be informed and involved in the publishing of their guides. OUR CMS

All technology designed by Lunar Cow Publishing is powered by our proprietary Content Management System (CMS). The CMS allows both Lunar Cow Publishing and our clients to administer the back-end of all our systems. The client’s administrator has full control over all the systems they wish to change, modify or delete, and are not dependent on any external resources to help them manage their projects.

The CMS is extremely simple to use. You can upload new images, change text, create new pages, change colors, create new members or partners, create forms as well as many other functions. The CMS lets the administrator make the system perform exactly as required.
